Christian Peacox earns Certified California Municipal Treasurer designation
(Sacramento, California) – The California Municipal Treasurers Association’s (CMTA) Certified
Municipal Treasurer (CCMT) designation has been granted to Christian Peacox.
With the goal of professionalizing the management and oversight of public funds, the CCMT
program provides public agency officials and staff with the knowledge, skills and abilities to be
good stewards of public monies. The CCMT designation aims to promote and enhance the
fiduciary responsibility and ethics of those with this responsibility. Designation holders have
demonstrated in-depth knowledge and understanding of the fixed income markets and of
treasury operations. Individuals obtaining the CCMT designation demonstrate commitment to
their profession by agreeing to stay current with best practices and developments in managing
public funds through continuing education requirements.
